Salsa Recipe for the Big Game

  • 4 serrano chiles (stems and seeds removed)
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Large tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 Large onion (chopped)
  • 2 Cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup tequila


Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl combine tomatoes, onions, chilies, garlic cilantro and oil until all items are coated in the oil.
Step 2
Mix in the lime juice, water and tequila.
Step 3
Leave as is, if you prefer a chunky style salsa, or if you prefer a smooth paste style pure this mixture into a blender.
Step 4
Add salt and pepper to taste.
