About this Recipe

This Oven Baked Asian BBQ Salmon is a very easy seafood dinner that you can make at home! You can also make this for the oven or the grill!

My clients love this salmon recipe. You can make this salmon recipe ahead of time and serve it as a salad for lunch, brunch or even for a light summer dinner.

  • 4 salmon filets
  • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • Sliced scallions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400° F.

Step 2

In a small non-reactive bowl whisk the soy, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger together.

Step 3

Place a piece of foil that has been prepared by spraying cooking release spray on it, and place your salmon on it. Then, add the marinade on top of each piece of salmon.

Step 4

Place the salmon foil packets in the preheated oven. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and baste with the BBQ Sauce.

Step 5

Re-seal the salmon and place back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until you can flake it easily with a fork and the center is pink.

Step 6

To serve, top the salmon with the scallions and sesame seeds and enjoy!
