Rise and Shine Smoothie

  1. 1 ripe mango
  2. 1 cup fresh orange juice
  3. 1/2 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt
  4. 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  5. 1 tablespoon honey
  6. 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  1. Using a sharp chef's knife, slice the mango by making cuts on the each side of the flat part of the pit to separate the flesh. Remove the skin with and cut the flesh into chunks.
  2. In a blender, blend the mango, 3/4 cup orange juice, the yogurt, ginger, honey and lime juice until it is smooth. Add an additional 1/4 cup more orange juice as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour the smoothie into 2 classes and serve.
