Mint Julep

Mint Julep

The classic mint julep is a mixed alcoholic drink or a cocktail that consists primarily of bourbon, water, crushed or shaved ice and fresh mint. Since this is a bourbon-based cocktail, it is most associated with the American South and pairs well with foods from the Southern United States, and it is a very popular drink at the Kentucky Derby.
