No Cook Strawberry Ice Cream

Homemade Strawberry ice cream is so delicious and surprisingly easy to make. With just a few moments of preparation, you can create this frosty treat that is perfect for that is perfect for that sugar cone.

Ingredients
  1. 1 pound strawberries, halved and trimmed
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 3/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  4. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl mash the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice and salt with a large potato masher. Allow to stand. Stir it occasionally for 10 minutes.
  2. Take half of this strawberry mixture and place in a blender and puree with cream until it is smooth. Return the strawberry cream mixture to the remaining strawberries and allow this to chill, stir until it is very cold for a minimum of 3 to 6 hours.
  3. Place this mixture into an ice cream maker of your choice and allow it to freeze. Then transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and place in the freezer to freeze solid.
