This Chipotle Spread recipe is perfect for a dip or use as a spread on your favorite sandwich. It will give it a spicy tang to make it perfect! You can make this lighter by using a fat-free mayonnaise.
This recipe is really easy to make with a food processor. Do not use Miracle Whip or salad dressing as neither qualify as mayonnaise and are just not as thick as the genuine article. You can source the chiles in adobo sauce at the supermarket that carry a good selection of authentic Mexican cuisine items. You will find them either canned or bottled.
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 - 2 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo (finely minced (1 for lest punch & 2 for more))
- 2 Cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- Kosher Salt and Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
- Mix in a bowl by combining the mayo, chipotle, garlic, salt, pepper and lime juice.
