To conclude my business trip to the Carolina’s – I was able to dine at Gordon Biersch. Now, for those of you who are unfamiliar with this establishment – it is a micro-brewery/restaurant. They have several restaurant’s across the US – you can check their website for a location near you.

I was recommend this place by one of our writers on this website Barry Pomeroy – as they have a Chilean Sea Bass that apparently it was to die for. So, on the last night of a fantastic business trip – I took my co-workers here as a thank you for the fantastic progress made so far. We were promptly seated and greated warmly.

We ordered a Corned Beef and Cabbage, a Salmon Ceaser Salad and I the Miso Chilean Sea Bass.

Well, Barry you are 100% right about the Sea Bass. It was sweet and buttery, and flaked with just the slight pressure of my fork. It had a bit of crispy edges that soak up the miso sauce on the plate – I was encouraged to eat faster – as they were not waiting for 9 PM for me to savor each and every bite.

The vegetables were sweetly grilled, and were an excellent accompaniment to the Bass. There were also a wonderful ginger-Jasmin rice – that could safely say is my favorite rice – I placed just a dash of soy sauce on the rice, with black pepper and the miso sauce. Well, you have got to go to Gordon Biersch and order this dish.

It’s $27 and worth every penny – even if your paying with your own money – its worth it.
